Un amigo mío ha recibido recientemente un archivo "Trickor1.exe". Cuando él abrió el archivo, se desplegó una tarjeta relacionada con Halloween preguntándole por "truco u obsequio". En realidad se trata de un virus muy peligroso. Su disco duro fue borrado totalmente, y no podrá ser re-formateado. Desgraciadamente él tenía acceso a una red y ¡la red entera también fue borrada!. El virus se vinculó luego a una línea de un servidor remoto desconocido, a la red de su compañía y a todas las líneas de teléfono de esta. El servidor desconocido usó estas líneas telefónicas para hacer llamadas internacionales y a varias líneas pornos [hot-line] esto podría pasar tanto a un módem de una casa de familia, como a un servidor de una compañía. La cantidad de pulsos que podrían aplicarse a su línea depende del número de líneas y del tamaño de su compañía. Este pequeño email de saludo, podría costarle a usted o a su compañía mucho dinero y tiempo, así que por favor, manténgase en guardia!! Yo verifiqué esto, y el virus podría usar algunos de los siguientes nombres y podría estar en formato .EXE o .ZIP:

Trickor1.exe
Trickortreat.exe
Hallogreeting.exe
happyhalloween.exe
H20.exe
TorT.exe

Por favor esté al acecho de cualquiera de estos archivos adjuntos a un email. Podrían existir diferentes asuntos en el título del email pero un ejemplo es: "Truco u obsequio, usted hace la llamada" o "Trick or Treat, you make the call". Normalmente no hay nada en el cuerpo del mensaje, pero podría haberlo.

A friend of mine recently received a file "Trickor1.exe". When he opened the file, a halloween cartoon greeting appeared and asked "trick or treat". He thought it was cute until he found out the trick was really on him! This is a very dangerous virus. His entire harddrive was wiped out and could not be re-formatted. Unfortunately he had access to a network and the entire network was also wiped out! The virus then attached a unknown remote server line to his company's network and phone lines. All of these lines were immediately clogged up as the unknown server used their phonelines to make out-of-country calls and call various pornlines. This could happen on a regular home modem, or a company server. The amount of charges that could be applied to your line depends on the number of lines and size of your company's server. This little email greeting could cost you or your company lots of money and time, so please be on the lookout!! I checked into and it has a few alternate names. It can be known as (could be in .exe or .zip format):

Trickor1.exe
Trickortreat.exe
Hallogreeting.exe
happyhalloween.exe
H20.exe
TorT.exe

Please be on the lookout for any of these files attached to emails. There could be various subjects on the email title but an example is: Trick or Treat, you make the call. There usually isn't any content in the body of the email, but there could be.

Pero aún si no lo fuera, la cantidad de mensajes que se generan al propagarse en esta forma de cadena, solo ocasionará problemas, lentitud de la red, y pérdida de tiempo y dinero, de su dinero, no lo olvide.
